Meet Your Neighbor - Jim Matkiewicx
Jim Matkiewicx (matakevitch). Jim was originally an investor at Nepenthe, owning 4 rental units and living himself, in Flagstaff. Over the years, he sold all but one of his rental investments and moved into the fourth one as his new primary home. His experience in managing his own rental units and apartment complexes has provided him with a wealth of experience and knowledge that he brings to Nepenthe as a member of the Board of Directors. His latest venture has taken him in a new direction as an Innkeeper, same but different. He now owns the Inn on Oak Creek Bed and Breakfast across from the Hillside Shopping Area. There was a great story about him and the Inn in the most recent issue of Sedona Monthly. Don’t miss it. I’ve been there and toured the facility and it is just gorgeous. When you close that front door you have no comprehension that Hwy 179 is on the other side of the door. It is a destination for your out of town guests and for yourself and friends to enjoy a breakfast on the patio overlooking the creek. If you are not staying at the Inn as a guest you must call the day before for breakfast reservations. I can’t wait to try it.
